New Mutants #27

The third chapter of "Unfinished Business" arrives with a cover by Marko Djurdjević that stops you cold — two New Mutants in their yellow-and-black uniforms are caught in the grip and maw of a massive, snarling beast, its razor-filled jaws wide open in terrifying threat. The tension radiating from that image sets the tone for what Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning are crafting here, with art by Leandro Fernández and colors by Andres Mossa bringing the interior pages to life. If this 2011 installment is any indication, the New Mutants have some very unfinished — and very dangerous — business left to settle.
