New Gods #5

Jack Kirby's New Gods #5 (October 1984) puts the threat front and center: a snarling, green-and-yellow alien creature lunges forward with clawed hands, shouting "Forward! The Earth is ours!" while a red-suited, sun-goggled hero surges to meet it and a blond companion braces nearby on a stone battlement.
