In New Avengers #64, the Hood returns with a shocking new weapon—the Norn Stones—and strikes a dangerous alliance with Norman Osborn, offering his villainous crew as the new Thunderbolts if Asgard falls. As the battle rages between Avengers, Asgardians, and Osborn’s forces, the tide turns when Loki reclaim the Stones, leaving the Hood exposed and scrambling to regroup. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Mike McKone, with colors by Dave McCaig and letters by Comicraft’s Albert Deschesne, the issue’s dynamic cover by Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger captures the chaos of the moment.
