May 2011 · Image · 3.99 USD

Netherworld #1 (2011) kicks off with Ray Parker, a freelance bounty hunter, navigating a gritty underworld after a routine job. When two mysterious figures—Alexis and a mafia thug—offer him a chance to track down a girl named Madeline, he declines outright, yet finds himself drawn to the nightclub where she works. There, he’s forced into action when he intervenes to stop three thugs harassing her. Written by Bryan Edward Hill and Rob Levin, with bold visuals by Tony Shasteen and vibrant colors by Dave McCaig and Lee Loughridge, this first issue blends noir tension with supernatural intrigue, all wrapped in a striking cover by Tony Shasteen.
