Four spacesuit-clad figures drift suspended in a swirling, otherworldly blue void on Chris Burnham's hypnotic cover for this September 2015 Image Comics issue — their bodies slack and glowing with unearthly energy while needle-like shards pierce the luminous, organic-looking space around them. Grant Morrison and Burnham's cosmic horror series pushes further into deeply unsettling territory with "Star of Fear," and Nathan Fairbairn's iridescent color work makes the whole tableau feel simultaneously beautiful and deeply wrong.
