This January 1997 limited series pairing brings two of Marvel's most dangerous mutants together in a tense cover by Ariel Olivetti and Pier Brito — a snarling, blood-streaked Sabretooth looming over a bound, defiant Mystique, both wrapped in barbed wire against a stark crimson moon. The subtitle "Quality Time" adds a darkly ironic note to what looks like an anything-but-comfortable partnership. Writer Jorge González and artist Ariel Olivetti clearly aren't letting these two antiheros off easy in issue two.
