Mystique & Sabretooth #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTwo of the X-Men universe's most dangerous and unpredictable characters share the spotlight in this 1996 limited series opener subtitled "The Darker Side of Destiny." Ariel Olivetti's cover puts the feral, snarling Sabretooth front and center in his yellow costume, claws raised, while a blue-skinned Mystique leaps dynamically behind him, gun in hand — together they radiate barely contained menace against a rocky, purple-hued landscape. With writer Jorge González and artist Ariel Olivetti collaborating on the interiors, this is a compelling starting point for fans eager to spend time with two of Marvel's most compelling antiheroes on their own terms.

Sabretooth and Mystique take a break from X-Factor to infiltrate the SHIELD helicarrier and remove a capsule from the body of a dead AIM agent. The capsule contains the schematics to an abandoned Hydra fortress where an agent named Catalyst was developing a computer program that would allow him to take over the world. Eager to recover the capsule for AIM, Commander Cypher sends techno-asassins to forcibly retrieve it from Sabretooth and Mystique.
