“Love and Lucy Walker!”

In "Love and Lucy Walker!", Karen faces a heartfelt dilemma as two men—poet Quentin and garage owner Tom—both vie for her affection. When Quentin abruptly leaves for New York and vanishes, Karen vows to wait, only to be blindsided by his return as a cold, distant stranger. Jay Scott Pike’s expressive art captures every emotional twist, while Al Hartley’s cover perfectly frames the story’s romantic tension.

Karen is loved by aspiring poet Quentin and garage owner Tom, but can’t decide between them. Quentin moves to New York and asks Karen to wait for him. Months go by and Karen hears nothing: she tells Tom she’ll wait forever, or until she learns Quentin doesn’t love her. Quentin shows up and is now “rude, self-centered, and a boor!” and claims he doesn't love Karen. It turns out Quentin is a failure and didn’t want Karen to know, because he still loves her. Tom unselfishly convinced him to return, but Quentin put on an act so she'd drop him. Karen realises Tom’s the one she loves.
