In "The Day I Deserted to Earth!", a stranded Venusian raider named Lor crash-lands on Earth and is taken in by an elderly couple, finding unexpected kindness in a foreign world. When he reunites with his fellow raiders, now intent on hiding in plain sight and eliminating any witnesses, he must choose between loyalty to his crew and protecting the people who showed him mercy.
