Bud Fisher's beloved odd-couple duo return in this October–November 1947 DC offering — a generous 52-page package for just ten cents. Sheldon Mayer's cover captures the gag perfectly: a bewildered Mutt sits in an armchair protesting that Jeff can't possibly walk up walls, while the diminutive Jeff does exactly that, scrambling right up the corner of the room with a cat clinging alongside him. Jeff's cheerful retort — "In comics, ANYTHING is possible!" — is the kind of self-aware, good-natured humor that made this series such a delight.
