This Winter 1944 issue of Bud Fisher's beloved comedy strip finds Mutt and Jeff airborne in a bright red-and-yellow propeller plane, with the long-legged Jeff at the controls wearing a leather aviator's helmet while the shorter, top-hatted Mutt complains about the freezing cold — apparently unaware that the giant spinning propeller right in front of them is the culprit.
