Muppet Babies #18

The whole nursery gang has gone rock-and-roll in this March 1988 Marvel entry, with the cover by Marie Severin spotlighting Gonzo, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and Kermit all decked out in matching "M" jackets and performing under a stage spotlight — while a shadowy figure tickles the keys on a piano in the background. The tagline "Ladies and Gentlemen… Kermit and the Kermettes!" sets a wonderfully playful tone that captures exactly the kind of imaginative dress-up fun the series does so well. A charming slice of late-'80s Muppet magic, with Severin handling the full art duties inside as well.
