Moonshine #3
Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso's Moonshine Vol. 3 — subtitled "Rue Le Jour" — makes a striking impression right from its cover, where a hulking werewolf looms over a cluster of rotting, hollow-eyed zombies rendered in Risso's characteristically stark linework. The cool blue-gray palette against a dusky gradient sky gives the whole image an eerie, atmospheric weight that feels perfectly suited to this dark crime-horror hybrid. If you've been following Azzarello and Risso's gritty supernatural saga, this 2020 Image Comics collection looks like a compelling next chapter.
