The sixth volume of Mooie Zomers arrives in 2021 with a wonderfully relaxed cover by Jordi Lafebre, depicting a glamorous, sunglasses-wearing woman lounging in a chair at the center of a charming pastoral scene — surrounded by two young girls, a toddler, a spotted dog, a cat, a rabbit, chickens, ducks, and a small goat, all rendered in a warm, sun-bleached palette that perfectly captures lazy summer ease. The series' signature blend of family warmth and gentle humor feels right at home in "Les Genêts," and Lafebre's line work — pencils, inks, and color all his own, with additional color work from Clémence Sapin and Mado Peña — gives the whole image a breezy, lived-in charm.
