Monte Hale Western #36

Monte Hale pursues a ruthless outlaw called the Horse-Killer who has murdered two cost blugs and is condemned as a relentless killer. After a confrontation, Monte is knocked unconscious and buried under a ton of ore, but he gradually recovers and escapes the cave-in. Monte then encounters Gabby Hayes, who helps him pursue the villain, leading to a final showdown where the Horse-Killer's horses clash in combat, and Gabby uses a well-aimed knife to stop the outlaw. Monte apprehends the criminal and brings him to justice.
