Monte Hale Western #35

Monte Hale must rescue a widow and her boys from a corrupt lawyer named Abijah Dark and his gang, who have forced them into labor at a jewel mine after capturing the widow's late husband. In a second story, Monte Hale confronts a prejudiced colonel commanding a remote wilderness fort who harbors a secret hatred of Native Americans and has been falsely blaming them for violent raids, which Monte Hale must expose as the work of "the Man Who Hated Indians."
