A strong but dim man is exploited for profit by a con man and then abandoned, unable to find work except in a freak show. His unusual size is thought to make him the perfect passenger for an experimental space flight, but a strange cloud gives him magnetic powers. Angry at his previous humiliation, he attacks society and runs amok until a special rocket is created to allow him to leave Earth and find somewhere where he can fit in.
