☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe cover features Blackhawk tangling with Sakyo, the Madman. Interior pages show a light comedy story about a woman who takes a course at a modern dramatics school to improve her acting, discovering she has landed a part in a play. The visible story pages also depict a military action sequence involving boats at sea, with soldiers discussing a torpedoed vessel and coordinating a search and rescue operation with their base.
When the Blackhawks are shot down and captured by Japanese forces, they find themselves face-to-face with General Sakyo, the ruthless military commander of Fortress Mayakawa—and they realize he's exactly the enemy they've been hunting. Trapped in a death-trap cell with a descending ceiling, the team must engineer an escape through the fortress's depths, where they discover enslaved prisoners and uncover the deadly secrets that keep Sakyo's stronghold running. With the fortress layout revealed and a confrontation with the mad general himself looming, the Blackhawks prepare to strike back against one of the war's most dangerous adversaries.
A slick con artist posing as a "geyser fixer" convinces the Sheriff of Geyser's Gulch to let him install an artificial geyser to revive the town's struggling tourist trade—but his real scheme is to use the pipeline as cover for a quick heist. When the geyser runs wild and threatens the town, the Death Patrol must track down the real culprit and shut down the operation before disaster strikes.
Private Dogtag lands guard duty at the Modern Science Show, where he's supposed to protect Army equipment—but when a mischievous kid and his scheming parents manipulate the good-natured soldier's fondness for children, chaos erupts. Between reassembling a disassembled bomber with furniture glue and getting bamboozled into test-flying the contraption, Dogtag discovers that his trusting nature has made him the perfect dupe for a bank robbery plot, and things spiral wildly out of control from there.
