Funky Flashman tries to convince Mister Miracle to sign a contract to go on tour to promote a cleaning formula. Mister Miracle and friends battle the goons of the World Protective League who mistakenly think that Mister Miracle has their leader (the Head). The Head admits to disassociation from the league and requests Mister Miracle's protection. During the battle Scott Free's store is destroyed along with an entire city block forcing Mister Miracle to sign the Flashman's contract to pay for the damages. The Head is beamed into space.
