“Stunt Man”

In "Stunt Man," a gifted violinist named Forbes suffers a devastating accident that costs him his hands—only to regain them through a miraculous graft. Though he’s thrilled to play again, the new hands carry a dark secret: they once belonged to an executed murderer whose spirit begins to take control. With help from the Ibis stick, Forbes tries to reclaim his music, but the spirit’s influence threatens to consume him. Art by Gus Ricca brings the eerie, emotional tension to life, while Al Bryant’s cover captures the haunting duality of the story.

A gifted violinist loses his hands in a tragic accident, but is the beneficiary of a remarkable graft of new hands. When Forbes discovers he cannot play with the hands (because they aren't his own), Ibis uses the Ibis stick to make the hands able to play again. Unfortunately the grafted hands once belonged to an executed murderer, and the spirit of that man takes over Forbes, creating an unusual foe for the Man of Magic.
