Masters of the Universe #13

The cover of this 1988 Star Comics entry says it all: He-Man's heroic visage looms large above a stone monument bearing the defiant inscription "Skeletor Lies!! He-Man Lives!!!" while the skull-faced villain himself reacts on one side and a cast of warriors — including a claw-wielding figure and a green armored soldier — flank the scene. A small winged figure darts through the air above the monument, adding to the charged atmosphere Ron Frenz has packed into every corner of this composition. "Lifetime Part 2" promises plenty of high-stakes Eternian drama, and this cover makes a compelling case for picking it up.
