A wonderful slice of 1945 wartime patriotism, this Fawcett issue features cover art by Al Carreño showing Uncle Sam standing proudly between Captain Marvel Jr. — in his blue-and-gold costume with red cape — and the fedora-wearing Radar, all three posed around a "7th War Loan: Buy Stamps and Bonds" placard. The banner across the bottom proudly calls them "America's Fighting Heroes," and the cover wears that spirit genuinely, capturing the era's sense of heroic solidarity with real warmth.
