Aimi is thrilled that Bright has confessed his love for Shadow Lady until Demota points out that her intended paramour is only infatuated with her alternate self. She hatches a plan to make Bright hate Shadow Lady and fall for her instead. Shadow Lady captures a petty crook Bright has been looking for and delivers him up with a tirade of insults for such a worthless police officer. This, of course, only proves to Bright that Shadow Lady has a spark of good and makes him more determined than ever to bring her over to the side of the angels.
