Marvels: Eye of the Camera #3
In "Shadows Within," Phil, grappling with chemotherapy, dives into writing a sequel to *Marvels*, only to find the world’s heroes growing murkier in his lens. As he witnesses Spider-Man’s chilling choice on the Statue of Liberty, the line between justice and consequence blurs—leaving Phil overwhelmed and fainting. Written by Kurt Busiek and Roger Stern, with art by Jay Anacleto and colors by Brian Haberlin, this issue captures a quiet, haunting shift in perspective, all rendered with care on a cover by Jay Anacleto.
