Marvels: Eye of the Camera (2009–2010) is a seven-issue Marvel miniseries that returns to the world of photojournalist Phil Sheldon, the everyman witness to Marvel's superheroic age. Written primarily by Kurt Busiek and Roger Stern, with painted art by Jay Anacleto, it picks up Sheldon's story in the late 1970s and early 1980s, as he documents the escalating conflicts of heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Logan. A thoughtful, grounded companion to Busiek's original Marvels, it offers a poignant, human-scale perspective on the cost and wonder of a world full of gods and monsters.
