Marvel Two-in-One #97

This March 1983 Marvel Two-in-One teams the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing with Iron Man for a story titled "Yesterdaze," and the cover by Ron Wilson (pencils) and Dave Simons (inks) wastes no time setting the stakes: Ben Grimm is literally being swallowed whole by an enormous, fang-filled creature, his rocky orange fists straining against those dripping jaws while a red-and-gold Iron Man rockets in from the right to help. The sheer scale of the beast dwarfs both heroes, making this one of the more viscerally gripping covers in the long-running team-up series.
