Marvel Team-Up #39
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpider-Man finds himself trapped in a giant magnifying lens — or some circular death-trap device — while a green-clad villain looms in the foreground and a desperate Human Torch blazes across the sky, crying that there's "no way I can stop him in time!" The cover by John Romita frames the stakes with sharp urgency: the web-slinger caught mid-swing inside that circular frame, the Torch streaking toward him in full flame, and a threatening figure below holding the whole grim scenario in motion. Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema deliver "Any Number Can Slay!" — a November 1975 team-up that looks like it earns its ominous title right from the opening image.
