Marvel Team-Up #149
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpider-Man swings in from the left as Cannonball blasts forward in a trail of fire and smoke — and looming over the city skyline ahead of them is a massive, cloud-formed creature with enormous reaching hands, its sheer scale dwarfing both heroes. The January 1985 team-up pairs Marvel's favorite wall-crawler with the New Mutants' Sam Guthrie for a story titled "The Incandescent Man," promising plenty of kinetic energy from two very different powersets. Cover art by Vince Giarrano and Paty Cockrum captures the tension beautifully, with the urban backdrop and swirling threat giving the whole composition a satisfying sense of urgency.
