Marvel Team-Up #137 promises one of 1984's most gleefully unexpected matchups: Aunt May and young Franklin Richards going up against Galactus himself — and the cover insists, in bold type, that this is "Not a Hoax! Not a What If! Not an Imaginary Story!" The cover by Ron Frenz and Mike Esposito delivers on that wild premise visually, with a golden, radiant Aunt May soaring forward in a burst of cosmic energy while Franklin runs wide-eyed behind her, all loomed over by the enormous, impassive face of the world-devourer.
