A thief comes into possession of an invisibility cloak and goes on a looting spree. Just as he is about to leave his run-down tenement, his landlady enters the room with the police, and he successfully uses the cloak to disguise his presence from them. After they leave the room, they lock up the entrance to the building and fumigate it.
