Roughly three years after the events of the first film where Chief Martin Brody successfully destroyed a gigantic great white shark that had been terrorizing the seaside town of Amity, the unthinkable happens. Another huge great white shark appears in the waters off Amity Island. The shark ultimately stalks a group of teenagers including Brodys own sons who are out sail boating for fun. Brody goes to save the teens and ultimately destroys the shark when he gets it to bite into an underwater cable frying the fish with millions of volts of electricity.
