The cover, penciled by John Buscema and inked by Rudy Nebres, is a striking image of a dark-cloaked sorcerous figure striding through the clouds, wielding both a swirling orb and a blazing sphere of fire — all rendered in the painted-panel style that made this series Marvel's award-winning fantasy showcase. Packed with color pin-ups, articles, and maps alongside the main story, this oversized format really gives Buscema and Nebres's sweeping, atmospheric artwork the canvas it deserves.
