In "Ultimo Lives!", Iron Man faces a towering threat as the Mandarin unleashes his massive Ultimo robot, turning the tide against both Stark and the Chinese soldiers from the previous issue. With Stark’s resources dwindling and his company under political siege, the hero must rely on his chest device and quick thinking to survive Ultimo’s relentless assault.
In "Crescendo!", Iron Man races against time to stop a dormant volcano from erupting, using his wits to outmaneuver the colossal Ultimo—only to face a new threat at home. With the Mandarin believing him dead and Senator Byrd demanding answers, Tony Stark must dodge political fallout while still in his armor, proving once again that even the smartest hero can’t outrun the consequences.
In "The Iron Warrior," a disgruntled knight of King Arthur's court, scornful of Merlin's favor, dares him to a trial by combat—only for Merlin's mysterious black knight champion to emerge victorious. When the knight still mocks Merlin's power, the wizard makes a single gesture, and the empty armor at his feet crumbles to dust.
