The cover tag says it all — "The New Avengers vs. The Old Avengers!" — and John Buscema and Frank Giacoia deliver a sprawling team-on-team clash that fills every inch of the page. Hawkeye draws his bow, Captain America raises his shield, Thor swings into the fray, and the Hulk and Black Panther anchor the bottom of the pile, while Goliath, the Wasp, and Iron Man charge in from the opposing side. This 1980 reprint of Roy Thomas's "...And Time the Rushing River..." — with interior art by Don Heck, Werner Roth, and Vince Colletta — is a great way to revisit a Marvel team epic that pits Earth's Mightiest Heroes against themselves.
