Lilandra transporta os X-Men para sua base para que a Fénix possa ser morta pelo seu crime de destruir um sistema solar inteiro. Xavier explica que a Força da Fénix foi expurgada de Jean e exige o direito de julgamento por combate, mas os seus captores recusam-se a ouvir. Os X-Men e a Guarda Imperial lutam na Área Azul da Lua para determinar o destino de Jean.
