Dizzy Daze steals a diamond and when Torch and Sun Girl attempt to apprehend him, Daze places Sun Girl under a magnet of his aircraft and tells Torch to sell the diamond back for a million dollars or he'll drop Sun Girl. Torch does as he says but burns the check once he has given it to him. Daze drops Sun Girl, but Torch catches her and apprehends Daze.
