In "The White Death," Captain America deciphers a mysterious code tied to the Sentinel Club, a network of patriotic allies, while responding to a cryptic letter from a member. With Bucky urging vigilance against potential enemy air raids, the issue closes with the usual call to join the Sentinels of Liberty—complete with a coupon and a rallying appeal. Cover by Jack Kirby, this 2009 Marvel Masterworks edition reprints a classic Golden Age tale with Kirby’s dynamic art defining the era’s bold visual style.
