Part of the "Fate of the Four" arc, this third issue of Marvel 2-in-One pairs Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm in a genuinely harrowing situation — the cover by Jim Cheung shows the Thing and a de-powered Human Torch tumbling helplessly inside a massive, churning whirlpool, with their blue Fantastic Four vessel spinning alongside them and a mysterious dark figure swirling in the depths below.
