Still depressed over the loss of the Richards family, Ben Grimm resists reaching out to Johnny Storm when Spider-Man suggests that Johnny needs help. However, when Doctor Doom shows up to give Ben a last message from Reed Richards which suggests that Reed and his family have survived, Ben seeks out a self-destructive Johnny to share the news with him and to start the search for their lost comrades.
