Ross's painterly style gives the piece a dreamy, almost weightless quality, as though this hero is falling through the entire history of the Marvel Universe itself. With a creative team that includes Ross, Steve Darnall, and Kurt Busiek on "Overture," this is a series that clearly has a lot of love for Marvel's rich publishing past.
