Written by Gerry Duggan with art by Nik Virella, the volume collects the four-issue Marvel 1872 miniseries along with the one-shot Marvel 1872: Heart of the Empire, exploring a gritty alternate history where the Marvel Universe collides with the Old West during the Battleworld era.
