Marc Spector: Moon Knight #28

Part three of "Scarlet Redemption" arrives with a cover by Bill Sienkiewicz that perfectly captures Moon Knight's world of shadow and myth — a rain-soaked nocturnal scene rendered in deep teals and burnished golds, where Moon Knight himself tumbles or plunges through darkness below a looming Egyptian-style figure (suggesting the god Khonshu) whose enormous, eerie presence dominates the left side of the composition. The atmospheric palette and haunting imagery make this 1991 issue feel like a fever dream steeped in ancient mystery. With J. M. DeMatteis writing and Ron Garney on interior art, this multi-part arc is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious Moon Knight stories of its era.
