DC's oddball superhero comedy Major Bummer hits its third issue with a cover that perfectly captures the series' irreverent tone. Doug Mahnke's cover art places a muscular, skeptical-looking young man face-to-face with a flamboyantly costumed fortune teller who reads a litter box — yes, a litter box — declaring "The litter never lies… your fate is sealed," while he fires back with a dismissive "Ah, hogwash!" Looming ominously in the background are a pair of hulking, monstrous figures that suggest the stakes may be higher than our hero is willing to admit.
