Punisher får hjälp av en riktig ninja – Katherine Yakamoto – med att förstöra Chester Scullys ninjaskola. Iris Green gäckar honom dock. Punisher får en inbjudan att besöka Katherines far, ninjamästaren Hatsu Yakamoto, och beger sig till Japan. Yakamoto attackeras ständigt av organisationen "Den eviga solen" och tillsammans med de gamla vännerna Shadowmasters tar sig Punisher an organisationen, bara för att upptäcka att den leds av den han söker: Iris Green. Hatsu dödas och Punisher och Shadowmasters måste bege sig till Kansas för att stoppa stölden av ett experimentplan.
