The 2025 Magik ongoing series launched on January 8, 2025, written by Ashley Allen — who had previously written the character in X-Men: Blood Hunt – Magik — with interior art by Germán Peralta throughout most of the run. Editor Darren Shan shepherded the title under editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski. By issue #7, the creative team had established a stable rhythm: Allen plotted a single, continuous ten-issue story rather than capsule arcs, an intentional structural choice she discussed publicly during the series' launch promotion. Germán Peralta returned to the penciling chair for #7 after Jesús Hervás handled the Limbo-set interlude in #6, with colorist Arthur Hesli and letterer Ariana Maher maintaining visual continuity across the run.
