Steve Skroce's Maestros wraps its run with a cover that radiates triumphant energy — a young sorcerer in ornate robes and a flowing teal cape levitates amid divine rays of light, flanked by a cherub on one side and a grinning red demon on the other, while golden trumpets are raised toward him from below as if heralding his ascension. The composition perfectly captures the series' blend of high fantasy grandeur and irreverent wit, with Dave Stewart's warm, luminous colors giving the whole scene an almost celestial glow. If you've been following this wildly imaginative Image title, issue #7 from 2018 makes for a visually satisfying send-off.
