Maestro: War and Pax #2

Peter David's post-apocalyptic Hulk saga rolls on with this second chapter of "Crossing the Rubicon," featuring cover art by Dale Keown. The cover says it all: a white-bearded Maestro, clad in regal purple and gold, thrusts a massive green fist toward the viewer while chained and defeated figures — members of the Pantheon — sprawl in the background, and a speech bubble taunts, "So falls the Pantheon… who's next?!" It's a confident, menacing image that frames Maestro as a conqueror very much in his element, with Javier Pina and colorist Jesus Aburtov bringing the interior action to life.
