Madman Comics #8

From Dark Horse's self-proclaimed "World's Snappiest Comic Magazine" comes Madman Comics #8 (1995), subtitled "The Puke" — and the cover by Mike Allred makes that title delightfully literal. Madman himself bursts outward in a shower of slime, erupting from the gaping maw of an enormous, grotesque green creature whose bulging eye dominates the left side of the image. It's a wonderfully gross, kinetic composition that captures exactly the kind of offbeat energy that makes this series so hard to put down.
