Mad #453

Neuman front and center among a crowd of battered, bewildered castaways — all set against a smoke-filled beach strewn with plane wreckage and a palm tree. The survivors surrounding Alfred look appropriately disheveled and desperate, making his gap-toothed "What, me worry?" smile all the funnier in the chaos. Inside, the issue also promises MAD's trademark skewering of Desperate Housewives, paintball, and Donald Trump — a strong lineup for 2005's pop-culture targets.
