Mad #431

MAD #431 (July 2003) puts the Incredible Hulk front and center — literally — as the snarling, green-skinned giant smashes straight through the oversized MAD logo with his fist, his furious expression filling nearly the entire cover in a remarkably detailed painted rendering by Hermann Mejia. The headline "The Hulk Gets MAD" says it all, and this is collector's cover 1 of 2, so there's a companion piece to track down as well. Rounding out the package is a free poster inside, plus MAD's signature satirical takes on CSI: Miami, Harry Potter, Conan O'Brien, and Courtney Love's Journal.
